Pre-Columbian Colima pottery shaman figure from West Mexico, ca. 300 BCE-300 CE. A standing archaic Tecoman pottery figure wearing a necklace, loin cloth, and headdress with horn. The horn is indicative of a shaman figure with typical elongated head. Beautiful manganese deposits, and root marks throughout the surface. 8-3/4" in height. Right arm reattached with break line visible. Ex. Lou A. and Barbara B. Pritchett collection. Ex Vice President of Proctor and Gamble.
