Pre-Columbian Chavin incised stirrup pottery vessel from Peru, ca. 1200-1000 BCE. Orange ware example with incised decoration of a condor on both sides. Some breaks restored around the stirrup otherwise intact. Root marks on the surface attesting to its age. 10 1/2" in height. Ex.
