Pre-Columbian Jalisco Ameca style seated male figure from West Mexico, ca. 100 BCE.-250 CE. Seated male figure with one leg crossed underneath the other. Arm outstretched and other hand resting on his head. Remains of manganese deposits on the surface attesting to its age. Right pinky finger restored, Left arm and right leg reattached with restoration over the break lines. 11-3/4" in height. Ex. Phyllis Geidelson, collected prior to 1970.
