Extraordinary figure of ancestral figurines originating from the Tuxcacuesco-Los Ortices region of Jalisco, Mexico, dating back to 300–100 BCE. Handcrafted from buff earthenware, these rare artifacts exhibit a unique combination of incised and appliquéd decorations, showcasing the rich artistic traditions of early Mesoamerican cultures.

The figures feature striking geometric patterns on their garments, intricate headpieces, and expressive facial features, reflecting ritualistic or ceremonial significance. Each piece is meticulously hand-modeled, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship of this ancient culture. Mounted on a black pedestal. 9" in height. Ex. Dr Paul Alepa collection.
