Pre-Columbian Proto-Nazca textile tunic from the South Coast of Peru, ca. 200 BCE-100 CE. A Proto Nazca poncho, made of camelid wool (Alpaca) using the Tie dye technique in order to obtain the color green, and thus maintaining the original tan color circles of the textile. The color in Nazca textiles were very important because they defined the social class they had, the color blue and green were more difficult to find, this color garment was used for people of high social status.
