Pre-Columbian Veracruz warrior figure from Remojadas, Mexico ca. 400-800 CE. A large standing figure with helmet and side flanges, necklace and loin cloth, holding a club. Painted with black bitumen (chapapote) on buff clay. Restored hand, loin cloth, neck, feet with restoration over the break lines. Complete with no new material. 19-1/2" in height.
