This stunning and authentic Pre-Columbian Colima shaman effigy vessel is an exceptional piece of ancient West Mexican art, dating back to approximately 200 BCE to 300 CE. Crafted with remarkable skill, this seated figure is believed to represent a shaman or spiritual figure, integral to the Colima culture's ritual practices.

The figure showcases a seated posture, with one arm raised in a ceremonial gesture and the other holding a small bowl, symbolizing offering or invocation. Its prominent headdress, featuring distinct ear-like protrusions, highlights the Colima people’s artistry and their deep connection to the spiritual realm.
