Miniature Pre-Columbian Teotihuacan Pottery Figure – Complete

Miniature Pre-Columbian pottery figure attributed to the Teotihuacan tradition, Classic Period (circa 200–600 AD). This is a complete and intact ceramic figure, modeled in solid terracotta and preserved in its entirety.

The figure depicts a standing anthropomorphic form with closed eyes, a serene facial expression, and a stylized headdress or coiffure. The torso is strongly modeled with pronounced anatomical features typical of Teotihuacan figurative sculpture. Despite its small scale, the figure is well balanced and stands independently, an especially desirable characteristic for miniature examples.

The surface exhibits an authentic burial patina with mineral accretions and earthen deposits consistent with archaeological age. The reverse is naturally flattened from original manufacture rather than later breakage. Minor surface wear and abrasions are present, as expected, with no evidence of modern restoration or repair.
