A finely carved ancient Egyptian sandstone head fragment dating to the New Kingdom, preserving the left side of a human face with remarkable artistic detail. Despite the loss of the nose, mouth, and portions of the opposite side, the sculpture retains a beautifully modeled almond-shaped eye, sharply defined eyebrow, finely carved ear, cheek, and portions of the forehead and crown. A shallow band across the forehead likely represents the edge of a wig or headdress, reflecting the elegant conventions of New Kingdom sculpture.

The sandstone surface displays an attractive ancient patina with natural weathering, mineral deposits, and age-related wear consistent with centuries of burial. The surviving features exhibit the refined craftsmanship and idealized style that characterize Egyptian stone carving of the period.
