Ancient Pottery Oil Lamp, Late Roman Byzantine, Spiral Decoration, Holy Land
Description
A well-preserved ancient ceramic oil lamp with spiral and curved motif decoration around the shoulder. The lamp features a rounded body, central filling hole, and extended nozzle opening for a wick. The surface shows a natural earthen patina with deposits from age and burial.
The underside bears a circular export / collection stamp, likely applied when the piece was legally exported from the region in the mid-20th century.
